01

Texture becomes part of the design

Brick walls add immediate character and an industrial feel to any space. Unlike traditional wall graphics that cover the surface with a flat film, direct wall printing allows the natural texture and mortar lines of the brick to remain part of the design. The UV ink bonds to the surface, creating a 'tattooed' effect that looks hand-painted but maintains the sharp detail of a high-resolution digital print. This makes it an ideal choice for Orlando's character-rich lofts and themed restaurants.

02

Better than vinyl on masonry

Adhesive vinyl graphics often struggle with brick. Over time, the film can bubble, peel at the edges, or fail to conform to the deep recesses of the mortar. Direct wall printing eliminates these issues because there is no adhesive film involved. The ink is sprayed directly into the contours of the brick and instantly cured by UV light, resulting in a graphic that won't lift, peel, or collect dust along the edges—even in high-traffic commercial hallways.

03

The power of white ink on dark brick

Printing on red or dark-painted brick requires a specialized approach to ensure colors remain vibrant. Our wall printer uses a dedicated white ink channel, allowing us to print a crisp white base layer exactly where the artwork will sit. This white underlay acts as a primer, ensuring that even complex, colorful murals stand out against dark masonry. We can also print pure white text or logos for a clean, high-contrast look on dark industrial walls.

04

Cinder block and industrial masonry

Beyond standard red brick, our technology works exceptionally well on cinder block and other industrial masonry surfaces common in gyms, warehouses, and modern office spaces. Direct-to-block printing can turn a boring grey wall into a brand-aligned feature wall or a wayfinding system. The UV ink is durable enough for these tougher environments and can handle the light cleaning required in commercial spaces.

05

Artwork planning for textured surfaces

When printing on brick, the style of the artwork matters. Bold patterns, high-contrast logos, and large-scale murals tend to perform best on heavily textured masonry. While our printer can achieve high resolution, tiny fine lines or small secondary text can sometimes get 'lost' in deep mortar lines. We review your artwork and wall photos to ensure the design is optimized for the specific texture of your brick surface.

06

Surface preparation and site conditions

For the best results on brick, the surface should be clean and stable. Loose dust, crumbling mortar, or heavy oil residue should be addressed before the project starts. Because the printer runs on a vertical rail and base, we also need a stable, level floor in front of the wall. We check these details during the initial estimate phase to ensure a smooth on-site installation in your Orlando or Central Florida location.

07

Durable and easy to maintain

Once the UV ink is cured on the brick, it is highly durable. It is scratch-resistant and doesn't require a protective laminate like vinyl does. For commercial spaces like restaurants or bars, the printed surface can be lightly cleaned with a damp cloth. This long-term durability, combined with the unique architectural look, makes direct-to-brick printing one of our most requested services.

Service FAQ

Brick Printing FAQ

Everything you need to know about professional UV direct-to-wall printing projects.

Will we still see the texture of the brick through the print?

Yes. That is the main advantage of direct wall printing. The ink follows the contours of the brick and mortar, so the natural architectural character of the wall remains fully visible.

Can you print on dark or black painted brick?

Yes. Our printer uses white ink to create a base layer, which allows us to print bright, vibrant colors on dark or black surfaces without the colors looking muddy or transparent.

Is it better than a hand-painted mural on brick?

It is much faster and more precise. A hand-painted mural can take days and depends on the artist's style. Our printer can reproduce complex digital artwork, logos, and photos with perfect accuracy in a matter of hours.

What happens at the mortar lines?

The print head can handle the moderate depth of standard mortar lines. The artwork will flow into the recesses, though very deep or irregular gaps are reviewed during the proofing stage to ensure the best visual result.

How long does the print last on brick?

Interior prints are extremely durable and intended to last for years. The UV-cured ink is bonded to the surface and is resistant to fading and light cleaning.
